The Audiologists

Lawrence M. Eng, AuD, CCC-A, ABA Board Certified in Audiology - Larry Eng has been an audiologist for the past 25 years working in a variety of medical settings including Veteran's Administration hospitals in San Francisco and Menlo Park as well as ENT offices in San Francisco, Daly City, San Mateo and Maui, Hawaii.  In addition to working with SFENT, he is a partner in a private audiology practice in San Francisco.

Larry has served professionally on state and national boards in Audiology and has served on taskforces for the FCC and for AT&T on issues related to hearing impairment and cell phone compatability.

His particular interest in the field of audiology, is hearing loss and aging.  According to Larry, "As our population grows and people are living longer, there is a growing need to understand the increased multiple issues related to hearing (specifically word understanding), vision and balance in the elderly."

When Larry isn't working, you will probably find him on the beach in Maui or in the gym working out.

Tina Romano M.S. CCC-A - Clinical Audiologist - After 24 years of working in the medical field of Audiology, Tina Romano has had the opportunity to work in top rated hospitals and clinics including University of California, San Francisco, San Francisco Veterans Hospital, and Walter Reed Hospital and since 2007, San Francisco Ear, Nose and Throat Medical Group.

A personal mission of Tina's is teaching patients, colleagues and medical students about  preventative medical practices such as Homeopathy, nutrition, and lifestyle considerations which may offers safer and gentle alternatives as healthcare options.  Motivated by patients with chonic ear symptoms such as Tinnitus (ear ringing), Tina furthered her education to provide patients with new preventive methodologies supplied by nature.

Tina often acts as a "health advocate" providing patients with options for complex symptoms which in the past have been considered untreatable.  According to Tina, "These tools provide resources for complementary practices which may prove supportive and beneficial to traditional healtch care practices."

Jenny Yee, Au.D. - Jenny Yee has been a Clinical Audiologist since 2003.  She became an Audiologist through personal experience with the effects of hearing loss on daily communication.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Communicative Disorders from San Francisco State University in 2000.  She continued her post-graduate studies there and received her Masters of Science (M.S.) in Audiology in 2002.  In 2006, she decided to further her studies, completing her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in 2008 from Salus University.

Jenny was born and raised in San Francisco.  She has worked in several audiolgoy practices in The City.  She enjoys working in the community that she lives in; her way of giving back to the community.  On Tuesdays, she works at California Pacific Medical Center where she specializes in audiological evaluations for children and adults.

Kim Zeller Hoppin, MA, FAAA - Kim Zeller Hoppin has been an Audiologist since 1990.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin and achieved her Master of Arts degree in Audiology from the Northwestern University.

Kim became an audiologist because of it's "mixture of art and science."  She enjoys "the creativity of listening to what the patient needs and addressing it through 'high-tech' devices."

Kim was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to the Bay Area in 1990.  She has two young sons and coaches both of their youth soccer teams.  She keeps fit with "Boot Camp" and "Spinning" classes.
